Unlocking nanomedicine’s
full potential
Nanoworx is a specialized Contract Research Organization (CRO) focused on the design, development, and production of advanced nanomedicines.
We support our clients throughout the entire process — from the initial design and prototyping of self-assembling nanoparticles to scale-up and manufacturing. With expertise in the high-throughput production and screening of nanoparticle libraries, tailored formulations, and batch production, we help accelerate the development of innovative, targeted therapies.
By combining our deep technical knowledge with close collaboration, we deliver flexible, high-quality solutions that move nanomedicine forward.

What is nanomedicine?

Nanomedicine harnesses materials at the nanoscale. This scale enables precise interactions with biological systems, allowing targeted drug delivery, enhanced therapeutic outcomes, and reduced side effects. Nanoparticles—tiny structures typically ranging from 1 to 200 nanometers—can be engineered from lipids, polymers, and/or protein to carry and release therapeutic agents. Nanoparticles can deliver drugs to specific cells, like tumors, or modulate immune responses, improving patient care.
At Nanoworx, we focus exclusively on self-assembling nanoparticles, which spontaneously form functional structures at the nanoscale. As a contract research organization (CRO), we partner with clients to advance their nanomedicine innovations, leveraging our expertise in these particles —such as liposomes or lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) among others—to optimize drug delivery systems like those used in mRNA vaccines.
Nanomedicine’s roots trace back decades with the first FDA-approved nanomedicine, Doxil, a liposomal cancer drug, approved in 1995. Since then, the field has expanded to immunotherapy, gene editing, and beyond. Nanoworx drives this progress, supporting clients to tackle complex diseases through cutting-edge nanoparticle research.
