Nanoworx makes use of an automated and validated production platform that ensures high precision and minimal human error throughout the entire nanoparticle formulation process. Our infrastructure is designed to support the seamless development of nanomedicines from early discovery to large-scale production. By integrating scalable manufacturing, precise liquid handling, and advanced analytics within a single platform, we offer our clients a streamlined, efficient path from concept to batch production of lead materials. This cohesive setup minimizes development risks, reduces time to market, and ensures consistent quality at every step.
Liquid handling
Our liquid handling systems consistently achieve accuracies above 95% and relative standard deviations below 3% for both organic solvents and aqueous solutions at volumes below 15 µL. For volumes above 15 µL, the systems reach accuracies above 98% with relative standard deviations below 1%, ensuring highly reliable and reproducible handling across a wide range of conditions. Our systems are equipped to handle complex liquid handling actions and are compatible with a wide range of consumables and containers.
Production
At Nanoworx, our nanoparticle formulation infrastructure is fully scalable, enabling seamless production from 400 µL to tens of liters without the need for technology transfers. By using the same microfluidic techniques and equipment across all scales, we ensure consistent quality and reproducibility throughout the entire development process. The reproducibility of our complete formulation workflow is excellent, with relative standard deviations around 1%, ensuring reliable, consistent results across batches. This integrated, flexible setup allows for smooth progression from early screening to large-scale manufacturing, saving valuable time and reducing development risks.
Analytics
At Nanoworx, we offer a comprehensive suite of analytical techniques to support nanomedicine development. We use multi-angle dynamic light scattering to accurately determine nanoparticle size and dispersity and employ HPLC with CAD/PDA detectors to assess molecular composition and material recovery. For detailed structural analysis, we provide cryogenic electron microscopy to visualize nanoparticles at high resolution. Additionally, we perform endotoxin testing to ensure product safety and offer in vitro cell-based assays to evaluate toxicity, cell viability, transfection efficiency and other functional effects. These combined analytics provide critical insights into nanoparticle performance, safety, and quality.
