Scaling

We provide intermediate (milliliter-range) and large-scale (liter-range) production of nanoparticle formulations, enabling seamless progression from early prototypes to larger batches. Our scale-up processes make use of our advanced equipment infrastructure, ensuring precise, reproducible, and controlled manufacturing at every stage. Formulations developed through our screening services can be directly scaled using this platform, maintaining key quality attributes and performance characteristics across scales. This service supports both preclinical supply needs and the preparation for further process development toward clinical manufacturing.

We offer comprehensive support for the intermediate and large-scale production of nanoparticle formulations, bridging the gap between laboratory prototypes and larger batch manufacturing. Our production capabilities range from 2 milliliters, suitable for preclinical studies and extended screening, to tens of liters for large scale production, supporting later-stage development and preparatory steps toward clinical manufacturing.

Our scale-up processes utilize the same microfluidic techniques as our screening services, enabling a seamless transition from small-scale discovery to intermediate and large-scale production. This consistent, scalable approach allows formulations developed in our screening service to be directly scaled without major re-optimization, preserving critical quality attributes such as size, distribution, and encapsulation efficiency across volumes. By applying scalable microfluidic methods from the outset, we streamline development timelines and ensure reliable, reproducible nanoparticle production at every stage.

Throughout the process, we work closely with clients to tailor scale-up parameters to their specific needs, whether for preclinical batches, extended in vitro studies, or early toxicology assessments. Our goal is to provide smooth, reliable, and scalable manufacturing solutions that support both exploratory and translational research efforts.
